AI should inform, not mislead

Sohum Plus uses AI to summarize news, explain why a story may matter, personalize a briefing and generate voice. These are assistive features, not a guarantee of perfect understanding.

AI-generated summaries

Summaries can miss nuance, invert emphasis or become stale as a story develops. They are labeled as AI-generated. Read the original source before acting on an important detail.

AI-generated explanations

“Why it matters” text is an interpretation based on the story and your selected interests. Potential relevance is not the same as personal advice.

AI personalization

Personalization decides what to surface. It can over-weight a topic you clicked once or under-weight a story you still need. You should be able to change interests.

Voice generation

Spoken briefings are generated from written summaries. Pronunciation, pacing and omissions can differ from the page. Transcripts should remain available in the written briefing.

Potential inaccuracies

AI systems make mistakes. Sohum Plus does not claim 100% accuracy, instant completeness, or that a briefing replaces original reporting.

Verification

If a fact matters — a number, a legal change, a health claim, a market move — verify it with the original publisher and, where needed, a qualified professional.

Professional advice limitations

Sohum Plus does not provide financial, medical or legal advice. AI interpretations in those domains are especially likely to be incomplete.

Breaking news limitations

Fast-moving stories can outrun a summary. Sohum Plus does not promise continuous or instant updates unless a live backend actually supports that behavior.
